Letter 23: War is not over, please help now.

April 18, 2023, Letter 23

Dear Friends of Share Ukraine,

The last time I wrote to you was on the first anniversary of the expansion of the Russo-Ukrainian War.

While things have not gotten worse, the Ukrainian people are still hurting and continue to face overwhelming challenges. Most of the country's infrastructure has been destroyed, and the power grid is still patched together to provide for the barest necessities. Millions of Ukrainians are refugees, and hundreds of thousands have been forcefully deported to RuZZia, including thousands of children. RuZZian forces still occupy some 8% of Ukrainian territories.

The situation for the people living in the East of Ukraine is especially dangerous. Their primary focus is supporting their friends and families serving in the ever-growing ZSU (Zbroini Sili Ukraini / Armed Forces of Ukraine). Despite the generous, continued help from the West and NATO, the newly formed units still need critical gear and clothing. Thanks to people like you, this past winter, Share Ukraine delivered thousands of pairs of socks, winter boots, gloves, sleeping bags, mats, and foot and hand warmers.

Now Share Ukraine is raising money to purchase and ship first aid items to Ukrainian volunteers and medical staff, delivering them to and treating the fighting troops in the field and medical stations. Among the items we plan to purchase and ship are tourniquets, chest seals, and blood clotting agents, which are desperately needed.

Additionally, Share Ukraine is asking for your help funding scholarships for Gold Star families. Helping the children whose parents made the ultimate sacrifice to achieve the best possible education is the best way to help Ukraine in the immediate and long-term sense.

UKRAINE NEEDS YOUR HELP. The people of Ukraine are hurting. Please help alleviate that pain. Share Ukraine guarantees that 100% of your donation will reach the people who need your help. They will feel better knowing that you care, and so will you, knowing you are helping eliminate some of their pain.

On behalf of Share Ukraine and the Ukrainian People, I thank you for your support and friendship! Click here to give: https://www.paypal.com/donate to Letter 23 campaign
